No need (if you can even find no-loads in 500K) - 500K don't load down the pickups anywhere near as much. If you really want to add some extra sparkle to P90s, change your tone pot values to 1 meg (not the volumes - the taper will end up wierd if you use 1M on volume).
I was listening to a few demos of the seymour duncan vintage P90's today and I am starting to lean towards them.
Actually, I think it's hard to beat the Gibson P90s, unless you want a low-powered '50s jazz or rock n roll vibe, then the Lollars are king.
Just as a matter of interest: have you checked the hole size against the size of dogear P90s? I remember those holes in the early Aria archtops were odd sizes... Make sure the screws will have some wood to screw into and that the covers will cover the holes. Otherwise you might find yourself having to fill in the holes and re-rout (not impossible to do, just some added work, especially if refinishing is required).
