With an archtop you want to fit the right thing first time - they are a cow to rewire as you have to do everything through the F-holes. Trust me, not a job you'll want to do twice. I usually replace everything (whether it needs it yet or not), just to be on the safe side. So if you are planning P90s, get them and the 500K pots (and switch, jack and cabling) and do it all at once.
Another quetion any ideas for other P90's if I can't get hold of the toneriders?
Andre from Tonerider SA has been contracting out of the country for a month or two at a time lately, he'll contact you when he gets back (I'm not sure, but he might drop doing Tonerider if it continues). Otherwise, Duncan and DiMarzio are the only brands readily available locally. If you are looking online, you might also want to check out Kent Armstrong - similarly inexpensive but decent pickups.
