That's weird I managed to find and download Amplitube with ZA iTunes. Also get JamUp, it has bass amps. It has a really cool patch sharing social thing going too. Ampkit I found had the best sound when playing through an amp (best to bypass your preamp though) while JamUp has the best sound for headphones and direct recording IMO.
But the one vital app you need is Audiobus (on special at the mo so get it!) which enables you to plug Amplitube, Ampkit or Jamup into Garageband, plus a lot of other cool stuff ?
