They got some great second hand kit pass through and Louis is a man of his word.

I went today! Nice guy ? the shop was a bit bare there today. I was told its the aftermath of December shopping but still some great products!! I walked out with a set of genuine fender Tele pickups and a foot switch for my Ibby Amp ? but that wasn't the highlight of my day! I played a Cort Source with a bigsby (335 copy with p90's) which was a brilliant guitar with a bit of overdrive added (clean sound wasn't that great...)
Plenty of growl and bark and snap when you attacked the strings and a mellowed warmer tone when you eased off.... Then I got a chance to play Keira's old strat with the Duncan in the bridge..... WOW!! That guitar is mindblowing! The bridge pickup is probably the best I've heard in my life (so far....) it's not thin or shrill sounding like all the other bridge pickups out there.... Warm and powerful with such a well rounded sound ? ?
It sounded so great in all the pickup positions! Playing that strat felt like falling in love! ? Keira if you read this.... How could you let that baby go??
I need a job.... I need to buy it!

Ok I'm done now ? as for the shop, it's really cool. Great service and a really cool owner! Ill definitely go back (when the petrol price drops)

Small world .... Thanks for the nice comments on the strat i'm selling , yep its great guitar just not suited to the jazz i play .... Selling cos i was a nice thinline gibson , not cos the strat is not amazing.. But i'm not wealthy enough to keep what i don't need .... If you want it .. I can offer you a good price ?

louis is my local store i live in same suburb ... So yes he carries a nice stock of 2nd hand gear ... And i pop in regularly and buy a fair bit from him ....and often just for tea and a chat... He offers great prices if you ask .....

Ah but if only I could afford it hey :-\ his best price was 8500 which is way above my budget ? If you were to lop off one zero you'd be in my price range ?

If its still for sale in a few months time I'd probably go for it ? but for now it'll have to stay in Louis shop (and my dreams)
