So my fiancé spoiled me for my birthday by buying a guitar that I have had my eye on for a while, in these very classifieds. And man, what a guitar it is.
A late 50's Guyatone LG50 with set neck:
It sounds awesome through my vintage amps. I still have to look under the hood, but whatever pickups are hiding beneath the covers sound fantastic. It is also very light, something that I like.
Unplugged, the guitar sounds very loud, much louder than most electrics I have played on. Plugged in, it even gets a bit of feedback sometimes. The bridge pickup is a little microphonic. But for my tastes in early rock n roll, it suits me and my personality perfectly.
