I have finished working on that 80's tune I was doing. Thought I could give you one last laugh before we brace 2013.

I asked a friend to sing. But the lyrics and melody are still mine. (I think he'd be too embarrassed to admit even if they were his). But this was an interesting self-challenge for me, from a production point of view. Trying to think how producers of the 80's worked. Mixing vocals was interesting, and trying to give them that 80's sound. I think I came close?!?

:yup: Wow !! Within the first second I was back in primary school watching a vhs tape of pop shop not daring to forward through to the Tiffany song again in case the tape snapped :-[ Can't comment on the technicalities, but it got the feel very right and brought back lots of memories of the era !

Brilliant..... :dance: :dance:....Had a good laugh there.....you nailed it because my wife hates 80's music and had to leave the room...... ? ?...she couldn't handle it.....

Yeah, you pretty much nailed all the stuff I hated in the '80s (and after my concerted efforts to push you to the better stuff from the decade ?).

I'm glad you guys could get a kick outta it.

Alan, I took your suggestions to heart, but the one thing I could not part with was the guitar solo. It's the only part of me that could be heard haha.
