chris77 Ja, it was a good year ? We received a very nice framed guitar picture and a mosaic guitar wall-hanging for our music room. Then Santa also brought me a Fender Tone-Master micro amp, a nice planet waves capo and glass slide and the new FAK music book.

I swear I didnt even know that the FAK was still up and running. So just googled and found quite a bit of activity still on the go. And you can get the sangbundel in electronic format as well.
Danny-B I scored a guitar calendar. More importantly, I treated myself to a Pt-2, Ernie Ball Volume pedal, and a Tanglewood OM style acoustic. What a beautiful instrument!

And quite a step up from the first edition as well! Still a lot of songs I don't know, but there is a lot there to love. Most of the old classics I remember from Sangklas at school feature :-[. I have yet to properly go through the songs, but most of the good ones (well in my mind anyway) of the past three or so decades seems to be there.
Arno-West I got nothing guitar-related, so I went and got myself a few sets of strings, some new cables and a globe for my lava-lamp. I feel better now. Happy New Year to all you dudes.
wirt I got nothing either, but I did happen to buy a guitar from a forum member that should be arriving some time this week ?
Ray Nothing guitar. Actually pretty close to nothing at all. But it's the way we do things. when I buy stuff I dont wait for Christmas to give to the pups or the chick. I just give it there and then. And really, significant gifts for me are bought by me. But last year I bought stuff and I still havent used it. And the year I bought stuff and I still havent used it. I think I must lend my RC-30 to Breyani so he can work it out and then teach me. He's quite clever hey. But I did buy knife stuff but that hasnt arrived yet.
Bob-Dubery I got socks. Lovely, hand-knitted socks. The most comfortable, luxurious thing one could have on one's feet. But nothing guitar related. Closest I got was a couple of CDs.
aubs1 Me,..... nothing, zip, nada, ..... ☹ X-rated Bob wrote I got socks. Lovely, hand-knitted socks. The most comfortable, luxurious thing one could have on one's feet. Bob, if you described them any other way, you would be minus your guitars!!! ?

Also heard that he is quite a clever that oke that Breyani! ? Would look forward to that - sounds like a fair exchange?? Saw a guy using a RC-30 live at a place called Jerry's down at Kenton-on-Sea while on leave. Used it very effectively to create a "live" backing track for "Lean On Me" if I remember correctly.
