Your piece of gear that almost only YOU like

I hope Im not the only one who experiences this. The piece of gear you very much enjoy using, but other guitarists or maybe non-guitarists shun. My piece is my Jackson... It's probably one of the cheapest Jacksons out there and I got mine in mint condition from a cash crusaders for a steal! Now Ive been to quite a few guitar shops where I would start chatting with the salesman about gear and soon the subject moves to my Jackson. Ive heard more than once that the bolt-on neck is rubbish and the shape is uncomfortable and the pick-ups are junk blah blah blah... But then I get home and I pick up my Jackson and she sings a song which I like. Despite her flaws and the presence of a far better guitar, she's still an awesome guitar! ☹ Am I the only one experiencing something like this??

I am very happy with my Cube, It is easily carried, has delay and reverb (I feel that the reverb could be better) enough clean volume in a bar and good lead tones ( if you experiment) for 'Old Toppie" music. Happyness for me!

SS amps mean solid state ? as opposed to Amps running on cathode tubes or valves
usually solid states use modeling technology to mimic overdrives and high gain

MIC or crafted in the hands of angels, I'm pretty sure these are just your basic clones of famous pedals and would probably work the same?
Except I've seen joyo pedals much cheaper on the web...

Did some reading on these Joyo pedals and it seems that they're quite well made and affordable around the web ?
A Lot of gear heads are raving about them and for $40 (R360 excl shipping) they're way cheap. That site is actually a rip seeing as shipping should only be about $15-$20 (half way around the world remember)

They seem to be direct clones of some famous pedals ? If I had some spare cash I'd probably take the plunge and try out the vintage overdrive (TS9/TS808) and the ultimate drive (OCD clone) pedals

Guitar is the most lovely gear of all. I just can't take eyes away of my Fender HSS!

My fixation with software guitar amps is highly unfashionable. Both in the (mutually exlusive) purist tube amp circles and among the Kemper / Axe-FX supremacists (the last two being likewise (violently) mutually exclusive it should be added.)

I'm very proud.

My Behringer BO300 Blues Overdrive stompbox. Yes I know, cue the Behringer comments, but..

I bought it when I needed a blues overdrive-type pedal, but was not on a Boss or better accommodating salary. Read the "Guitarist" reviews of the first of Behringer's pedals where it received very good feedback, and bought it on those strengths.

As you'd expect it's not quite a BD-2 (and definitely isn't a Blue Boy etc), but it's not that far off the mark. Even better it cost R295.00 (in 2006 or 2007), has been used every week since then at home and in gigs, and still performs without trouble each time. It's still on my pedalboard next to my TS9, just tweaked to give a slightly fuzzier sound nowadays.
