A great concert on DSTV at the moment, but I've only been able to catch snippets.
I saw Roger Waters on bass guitar and Eddie Vedder on vocals, and even got some Eric Clapton doing Crossroads,
but sadly I'm missing most of it. Worst is I'm unable to recognise the stars of the show.
That lead on Comfortably Numb sound like the guitar of Snowy White to me but I'm not sure... and what guitar was he playing ??? :-\
Damn I wish I could tell the in-laws to bugger off already so I could watch the show... ???

Nice to see The Who in action... 8)
Glad Pete didn't smash that beautiful acoustic guitar in the end... ?

I watched all 6 hours of it. ?
Started a thread earlier called "who's watching channel 181".
I guess it was just you and I. ?

I caught Clapton but I don't know if it was the whole set - two numbers. Then I stayed tuned until the end of Billy Joel's set. I recorded the rest.
Did Springsteen play?
The Stones were actually trying quite hard. They were in between two big shows, so maybe Jagger was taking it easy on his pipes - he basically talked his way through Jumpin' Jack Flash and never sustained a single note (all the long notes got left to the backing singers).
Nice to see the organisers give a little acknowledgement to some of the people involved in rebuilding the battered areas who are heroes but are not famous.

Unfortunately I could not watch it Bob. I just caught snippets of it.
