epictring Hi, I recently had someone bring a nice new macbook pro retina from the US for me. If you've owned one you would understand what I mean by the Magsafe Power Supply that comes with it, it has an extension cord that can be changed for different country power adaptions. Mine is obviously US, is there anyone with an EU/SA one laying around that I can get from you (I'll pay for it). Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
epictring I'm looking for this specifically: But now that I think of it, aren't these plugs worrisome to use since we can't use the earth?

Yeh you can chop it and there'll be an earth wire in it, then just wire a sa plug to it I was also looking for one of those locally a while back, with no luck. Apple only sells the entire charger with it Eventually ebay'd it for cheap

DaFiz I use an iMac , first thing I did was clip off the two prong and attach a good old RofSA three prong plug.... Is this something new that can't be adapted ??? ???
Chocklit_Thunda Honestly instead of ordering one you could have just used a normal 2 prong that fits into laptop chargers and ps2's and those sort of things. Usually the male part of the jack is shaped like an 8. We used those instead of paying and they work fine
