IceCreamMan http://bluesrockreview.com/2012/12/top-20-albums-of-2012.html interesting ....very interesting
Ray I've got some of those and some are great. But I swear the Jack WHite effort is sleepy stuff for me anyway. Maybe that's the fighting talk you're looking for?

doc-phil While I haven't listened to any of these except Blunderbus by Jack White, I must agree with Ray - besides from Sixteen Salteens which is a sweet track, the rest of the album is a huge snore.
Jack-Flash-Jr :-\ It's the only album that has had numbers on ALL of my MP3 mixes since its release. We need to sit down and discuss this over a beer or two. ?
Cleric I HAVE to thanks IceCreamMan for the link and list. It finally got me to listen to the Joe Bonamassa stuff I've been ignoring. Holy mother of funk, can the man play. I always figured myself as a hardrock, prog and metal and fingerstyles guitarist, but I am now neglecting my metal ways and really want to start learning that type of blues rock. Tracks like Last Kiss have me buzzing for when I get my LP in a few months. Any advice on good tutorial vids on the style? Or maybe a good teacher in JHB? I'm working my way through the riffs on Bonamassa's albums, but I'm sure I'm not nailing the technique quite right. I also want to push my soloing from shred to the more soulful style he uses. I haven't been this excited about learning new music since Pearl Jam.
