Another great metal pickup comparison

My favourite tester Keith Merrow has posted a new video testing a bunch of metal pickups ?!
I can only imagine what a mission it is to do this...

Here's my opinion of all these pups, not solely based on this particular video:

SH-6 Distortion: pros: thick bass, balls. Cons: lack of clarity
SH-10 Full Shred: pros: balls, Cons: muddy low end
SH-4 JB: tight bass, clarity, good upper mid-range. Cons: slight lack of balls
SH-8 Invader: Pros: great lower mids, beautiful sustain. Cons: Can't think of any (my pup of choice)
SH-5 Custom: Pros: mid scoop, great clarity Cons: mid scoop, low end chords lacking
SH-14 Custom 5: Pros: great clarity Cons: Can't think of any Lack of mids might get lost in mix?
AHB-3 EMTY Blackout: Pros: extreme balls Cons: Loss of dynamics
AHB-1 Blackout : Pros: Great upper mids, balls. Cons: Maybe too much upper mids

Oh definitely! Do you have any idea of prices with shipping etc on the bareknuckles?
Just spoke to a friend who paid about over R3k for 2, ordered from here but fetched from UK to avoid VAT.

Guidothepipmp bought two in and I think that they were about a grand a peice. I stand corrected though, I know that they were a whole lot less than SD's.

I'm thinking a set of warpigs for my next build.

Hehe , I've brought in 4 pups from bk. They're awesome pups

Holydiver, blackdog, coldsweat and a painkiller..

They're all awesome.. holydiver being my favourite... basically a complete jb.

Paid 1400 a piece including shipping and all that jazz

Yes the Holydiver seems like a great pickup, I love the JB for rock and tight thrash ?
How is it compared to the JB, better?

The holydiver is very articulate..almost cleaner than a jb...

On dirty channels it is fatter sounding than a jb with a tighter low end. Great lead tone too

I love jb pups, but I'm starting to love the diver more... great pup
