Farcry 3 Epicness

Seventhson

So I have been playing farcry 3 all evening and I have to say I am impressed. 8)
So much fun. The take downs are super awesome. I love sprinting to the enemies and sticking them like a pig. ???

Its a must. You go hunting so you can upgrade your storage basically your holsters and ammo pouches and so on.
Gathering herbs so you can make syringes.

Also lots of side missions. Hunting, killing a pirate captain, races and some challenges you are required to kill as many pirates as you can with the given weapon.
Has a tiny rpg element to it,gaining xp and choosing upgrades to make you more of a warrior. Each upgrade is shown as a tattoo.

So is it more like FC2 or FC1?

wirt

Oh lawd... More things to distract me from practising ?
It looks awesome though, will definitely get this.

Its what farcry 2 should of been. They took everything that was bad about fc 2 and fixed it up. I must say I am having a ball. Missions aren't miles away and there is proper fast travel.

I'm getting this, pity they say the multiplayer sucks though :/ would've been epic in those jungles.

Looks amazing none the less..

LOVED FarCry 1... FC2 was quite a let down (Same story with Crysis 1 vs. 2 although not as much when compared with FC 1 vs. 2...) Looking forward to FarCry 3 and Crysis 3! :applause:

Seventhson

Yeah its singleplayer focus.

And as for the story far better than fc 2. Well I think its cool to see how the main character evolves during the game. Not that far into the story though. So many side missions to do ?

ActionArnie

You guys playing it on PC? Steam?

Seventhson

well my version isn't legit ??? bec I really don't want to battle with the stupid drm.

It uses ubisofts uplay so its not on steam :-\

guidothepimmp

I don't like dubstep but it suits the game I have to say. Love the Flammenwerfer ?

wirt

I've been playing for 9 solid hours now. I... I might need help :'(

Seventhson

Yeah its terribly addictive. I only play during the evening but I have an urge to play during the day lol. But I play baldurs gate enhanced edition during the day ?

Wizard

On a technical level, what sort of hardware do you need to play something like this at an acceptable level?
e.g. what's the entry level graphics card that would work? And what's the recommended level of graphics card?
