Exactly.... Its all about 'bums on seats'. Thats their number one priority. (sadly for us).

It's ALWAYS about bums on seats. If it were Metallica or AC/DC it'd STILL be about bums on seats - for the promoters and for the band.

Since Lady Gaga can be protested for apparently encouraging Satanism and destroying the moral fiber of our youth, why can't we protest Justin Bieber for destroying Rock'n'Roll and good taste in music? Just imagine a couple of hundred guitarists playing "Iron Man" in harmony as a form of protest.

Squonk will still be telling porkies about how he can't play guitar, and y'all will still have GAS. He's just a pop star who is going to give a show. There will be no lingering after effects. It's not like bubonic plague or an atom bomb.

It's not like rock fell out of the mainstream becaues of him, R&B and pop-electronica have been dominating the popular airwaves for years. We rockers should keep rocking, and let the rest do and listen to whatever it is that they like.
