hi ya ... i will be hosting a jazz and blues jam at "The Library" a part of the Brazenhead pub in sandton ......
situated at cnr of Linden rd and anne cresent just off grayston ...in sandton
time 5-30 - 8 pm
no couvert
the idea is to promote local music and encourage jam sessions....
as you can see we have included "Blues" in the genre.......... which is traditional blues....... (no pop or rock covers ...there is a pop /rock open mic on a tues for that )
so if you a bluesman or woman come and bring your guitar or bass or keyboard , sax , mouthorgan and come and play some blues ...we will have a spare guitar amp available BUT you must bring your own instrument .......
it's an organised jam session , and time limits will apply, and strictly traditional blues or jazz ,

AND OF COURSE WE WILL BE PLAYING SOME JAZZ AND ANYONE WHO CAN PLAY JAZZ PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SIT IN AND PLAY WITH MY BAND THAT INVITATION STANDS

just heard darrly kruger ( percussion institute, PIT hollywood , usa graduate ) will be playing drums with me tomorro ,man this guy is super talented and fun to work with
remember we will play jazz but host an open blues jam as well so bring your instruments ,,
keeping live music 100% live , no backtracks used
