Knotty Pine bodies

I guess with the price of endangered wood going through the roof this is an interesting alternative,
I think it looks quite cool.

Pine has the tendency to shed its knots over few years. Just check out the old knotty pine ceilings from the 70's....full of small holes. Now if that happens with these guitars...? ??? Hole(ly) s$%t

as i kid i always thought english people were talking about "Naughty pine" as in the the wood being bad ?

i dont mind using pine as a bodies, but those knots might become a problem.

I don't mind the Clear Pine bodies that Stewmac sells. But selling these for the same price? Ridiculous.
