Timeline DIY??

Hey Guys

I recently came accross this clip http://www.guitarforum.co.za/effects/strymon-timeline/15/ and I was blown away with this pedal.
I cannot find anything in SA on this pedal it seems to be rather rare. Would any of our fellow modders be up for the challenge of building one???

Just a thought. What an amazing pedal.

Not really the type of pedal that one just DIY's.

It probably has a very complicated PCB, not the type of kit that an independent hobbiest can clone.

Best place to get one is straight off the Strymon website.

I figured it was worth the ask seeing as I have ZERO experience in building pedals.
If you guys cant do it then I guess it cant be done yet.

Building one would be quite a mission and would be way more time consuming than a standard pedal. Strymon uses surface mount components on their boards (quite nasty to solder even with steady hands). There's also a good chance their PCB's are multilayer. Then there's the programming of the micro's and all the algorithms they use.

Basically it would be way more cost efficient to any individual to probably work at minimum wage and then buy one ?
