My Afrikaas Metal thing

So this my afrikaans sloooow metal track....messed around with some vox also...not sure if it's (vocals) sounding ok...lol....may be a bit loud too...but anyway....

The song is slow...metal's not always fast, right? Main riff reminds a lot of Black Sabbath me thinks....

I think there's a lot of clipping going on. The fadeout sounds better than the rest of the song as the volumes drop and things stop clipping.

The voice back in the mix is interesting, it means you've got to listen carefully to get the lyrics.

The solo is effective - which is the first thing a solo must be.

Thanks. I'll check the clipping issue. In the mix the meters dont run hot so it could be tad too much compression I added later.

Not bad. At least I listened to the whole thing...for a change. ?

Drums sound a bit flimsy compared to the rest of the stuff. Get the kick much, much fatter (eq it differently or use another sample) and let the snare really cut through (boost mids).
The solo guitar going while everything else is also on the move sounds a bit thin as well.
What bass did you use (Synth or did you play a real bass, if it's a real bass, boost the mids so that you can hear the actual notes and not just the bottom-end hum you've got going now. If it was a synth bass, try replace it with the real thing.)
I like the chunky bad-ass rhythm guitars, they are a song by themself IMO.
