giggsy Ibanez TSA15H head and cab and Ibanez ORM1. Not much to say ? Although I am sure opinions will be split on the guitar, I love it (which reminds me that I need to change my signature...) and I'll be photographing it a bit later on - its a seriously photogenic guitar.
Squonk I would have bought the combination as well. Good stuff. That guitar looks so brilliantly retro

giggsy Thanks guys - yip, super retro and that's one of the reasons why I like it - based on the Jet King but its the signature model of Omar Rodriguez from the Mars Volta. Almost bought a black one at the Braamfontein sale and been kicking myself about not getting it since then (although the cream was the one I was really after). When I went in on Friday morning and saw it, I grabbed it even before checking the price - I had to ask the salesperson if the price sticker was right... you wont believe what I paid for it - almost to embarrassed to put the price here (R800 ?) So here's some more pics Its short scale so its a little guitar, buts thats fine cos I dont have the biggest hands - the neck is also great, the pic doesnt do it justice.

I have wanted to play since I got the guitar and the amp, not feeling like its a chore. Also met a guy who was buying some of my pedals, we talked guitars for ages and turns out he's a teacher so going to start taking lessons soon. But I'm still going to take you up on your offer!
V8 Giggsy wrote almost to embarrassed to put the price here (R800 ?) Wow, for that I reckon you stole it ? I like it! Not sure how functional the split pick guard is, but the lines thoughout are quite lovely and the detailing on the bridge looks special + I'm a sucker for through strung guitars.
ZarK So Cool!! Dig both the amp and guitar. The natural neck and cream body looks fantastic. Enjoy!! :goodtimes:
giggsy Shibbibilybob wrote That's a lovely little amp dude ? Thanks man, very, very chuffed with it! Though I do need to take it back and get a new one... first it started to crackle about a minute after turning it on - would last about 30 seconds and then go away. And now, even if all the knobs are turned to the '0' position, I still get sound out of it. But these problems aside its a wicked little beast and the inbuilt TS is awesome. I was tempted to get the cheaper 'all-in-one' version, but the head and cabinet just look so much cooler

They promised to get me a new one by the end of the week.
