So I decided to sell off a few pieces of equipment to justify the purchase (as one does) I went for the Vintage VRS 100 - Vintage®Rock Series loaded with Wilkinson hardware, In Short

Body: Eastern Poplar
Neck: Maple – Set Neck
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Frets: 24
Tuners: Wilkinson® WJ807 E-Z-LOK™
Vibrato: Wilkinson® WVP (VRS100’s)
Pickups: Wilkinson® Humbucker x 2 (N) MWVC (B) MWVC
Controls: 1 Volume/ 1 Tone/ 3-Way Toggle

My first impressions are that Vintage builds very solid guitars, nicely finished off, intonation is spot on, low action, makes it a very playable guitar from clean to slightly overdriven with an aggressive pick on to distortion at the twist of the volume. So far I like it ....a lot !!!!

I doubt that is by accident. I'm sure what it lacks in originality it makes up for in a copy of a slick design.

I've been eyeing the green burst one for some time :'( it's just so pretty. Would really love to see these in CPT.

I can tell you the build quality is fantastic, I might upgrade the pickups in due course to some Bare knuckles because of Claudio's raving or something of that nature.

Thats funny that green one kinda has a pull on me to, except its one of those colors that everyone likes and no-one wants will be difficult to re-sell. it should have had darker edge ... but its really GREEN
