Alternatives to ADSL Telkom Line Internet

So I'm moving to Pretoria in 2013 for studies at UP - into one of those houses that house a few students (4 in total in my case) but there isn't any Internet.

I shocked myself into how little I know of alternative solutions to the typical ADSL (Telkom Line) Internet. Which options are the most affordable - quality ratio?

I'm looking at at least 3GB a month. I've looked at iBurst (Wireless) but I'm not familiar with it.

My parents have an MWEB uncapped line back in Welkom, is there any way I can utilize this line?
Can someone please shed some light on options?

After you are enlightened about your problem you should check this out- www.ptawug.co.za its quite interesting. I dont know enough about it to give details about getting it up and running or if its even worth it. None the less, its interesting. Also, im pretty sure you could still use your internet account? But maybe only through a land line if so? There are alot of alternatives though but finding a way to use the account you already have is probably worth while.

Looks like a large network with people gaming, sharing, etc. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out sometime.
