I agree with the sentiment of not believing everything you read.
And that's exactly the problem.
Overseas people read reports on South Africa and adjust their investment accordingly.
The picture created is just not accurate.
Not better; or worse ... just inaccurate.
We went on an overseas holiday 2 years ago.
While we were there we read the papers and had to conclude that South Africa had imploded into civil war in the short time we were away.
We were afraid of what we would find on our return.
Got home. Nothing changed. Business as usual.
There are certainly major issues; as the article indicates.
But honest and accurate reporting is woefully absent.
