Does anyone have any extra security in their cars for this sort of thing? I would love to get someone to install some kind of cage/trunk thin that you could put everything in and lock it so this sort of thing couldnt happen. I have no idea who could do that or if it would be feasible or fit in my car but its an idea... Anyone ever done this or know of how to do this?
Wow I am truly delighted there is a happy ending to this sad story. :woohoo: I've always believed insurance was heavily loaded on band equipment and unaffordable (my perception anyway)
Thus I've always been part of a structure that keeps one member at the cars while one or two are carrying stuff in or out of venues, and I'll rather take the stuff straight home than leave them in the car while I go and have a beer. It's not always easy but the horror of coming out afterwards to a crime scene at your car is a nightmare of note :'(
