Others would know better how good a deal this is. What I can say is that it likely hasn't been refretted and yet seems to have very little fret wear. So I'm guessing it wasn't used professionally.

Could be a great deal. I'd certainly be thinking about it if I had disposable cash.

I can't tell if this is the long neck (is that right? Is the scale length different between the two?) or the short neck version. Also, a note. The seller says it's a semi acoustic. It isn't. A 330 is a full acoustic hollowbody.

Well, I know that a 60s ES 330 TD can fetch upwards of $2.5k for a nice one...

Personally, I'd love one. The p90s are so rad... but alas I have neither the cash nor the need for a new guitar ?

Looks to be late 60's from the witch hat knobs. From the crappy pics it looks like the long neck version. The short neck version feels like a Les Paul neck on an acrhtop, very comfy. The nut on these can be quite narrow, but the depth of the neck can make up for that. EZ played my '67 and he seemed to manage the narrower neck well.

It is probably still a sweet sounding guitar, but that price is rather ambitious.

i called him twice and he was not willing to reduce his price.....

He is already trying to sell this guitar for over a year....

I wouldn't even ask that much for my '67 (granted it isn't a museum piece, but still).

At that price he will be sitting with it for a long time.

Yes, I played Reinhard's example. It is a supremely playable instrument, it won't take long to get used to it if you are used to a Les Paul. Feedback is the only concern on these but they (at least Reinhard's) sound and play great. More than great ?

I still feel a P90 is THE pickup, I think you said something similar. The perfect balance between a single coil and a humbucker.

Yep, that is basically true, however, I do like a really fat bridge sound so I think my next LP will have a p90 neck and a hot PAF bridge, or p90 with hot p90 bridge hmmmm.....

It's like the configuration on the BFG Les Paul (too bad the rest of the guitar looked terrible).

I'm aware of the guitar. It's a circa '68 long neck. Nut has been replaced. The seller was first under the impression it's a '65.
