So how do you know that you're playing too much guitar?

I've been playing my acoustic all week and mucking around with some new material, so much so that when I was listening to music in the car this morning - Rage against the machine, killing in the name of, came up and I skipped it thinking that I can't be bothered to tune my radio drop d .

doh........

Anyone else have something similar?

Yip, yesterday - while getting some idea's down for this months challenge - trying to be funky and failing horribly, didn't even get as far as pulling out a wah :-[

Been a week or two since I last picked up the electric or had a jam (also been acoustic'ing a bit) so perhaps just a bit rusty.

Played a church gig last night, mostly youth...but I surprized myself. Usually I stick to rythm playing, chords only. Last night I played a opening riff to a song, did some fills, bends...I'm getting bold... :-[

a good friend of mine shakes my hand with index finger "closed" because my hand pretty much always looks like that... holding a pick while i'm driving, eating, shaking people's hands
