Im amazed no one said anything about it yet?!
Anyways, im less than impressed... it didnt draw me in at all!
Best bond theme ever? Not in my opinion! :-\

Most newer Bond themes lean to MOR pop twee-ness... doesn't matter who the artist is.

The original theme (or rather John Barry's arrangement of it) is a great piece of music. The man is a master. Somewhere along the line, Broccoli realised he could make more money by getting whatever pop flavour was in fashion at the time of each film to record a distinct piece of music. Barry still composed and arranged most of them, but something sellable is more the object than creating cutting edge durable music.

I kinda liked it. It's certainly not the best. I'm still looking for an album with all the bond themes on it.

My favourites have been;
Live and let Die
View to a kill
The living Daylights
The world is not enough
Goldeneye

I'd love to be part of writing a Bond Theme.

Which mopey Adele fanboy suggested this is the best Bond theme?!? ???

A friend forwarded me the link a few days ago saying he thought it was pretty good. Ex-friend, more like. Ok, ok, it's not awful, but it's immensely bland, and if you take out the Bondy orchestral hooks it's just another slit-your-wrists Adele song. And she has much better ones.

The last few have been pretty awful, though.

the producer apparently said its the best bond theme ever.. :-/

Hmm, yeah, uhm... OK, it's actually not all that bad but the best Bond theme ever, NO CHANCE! I've listened through it twice now and I like the way it does have the feel of a Bond theme song but I'll probably forget this one quickly. No theme will ever touch the original James Bond Theme - like Alan said.

I tend to like the older theme songs better like "Goldfinger", "Thunderball", "Diamonds Are Forever" etc. but the one that stands out for me is "Nobody Does It Better" from "The Spy Who Loved Me". If I had to pick a favourite apart from the original, that would be the one.
