Nitebob Oh I forgot...I already have my signature guitar...excuse the bad pic I'd just change the bridge pickup to humbucker....
DonRoos I am eagerly awaiting the new Ibanez AR range, particularly the AR325. I would have a custom rose (my surname is after all Roos? inlay of mother of pearl added.
ZarK Good choice. Those Ibby Artists are fan-tastic instruments... Both the vintage and the more modern Prestige version I've played where absolutely sublime... Quality in every respect...
nick I honestly can't say I would be able to think up a signature guitar, at this moment in time my idea of perfect is a '52 tele with a humbucker in the bridge, and thats hardly unique. ☹
Squonk Not too far from the Ibanez George Benson series. I would possibly have a "Squonk" inlay on the fretboard!

Delta-Male Made this collage to show what I'd want... * Designed after ES-125 * Double P-90 Dog Ear Pick-up's * Block Fret Inlays * Headstock designed according to Les Paul Custom * This ES-175 tailpiece
Jacques_nasi singemonkey wrote You're right Reinhard. If I get another Les Paul one day it will be a custom model and it will look like this. Also a handy "signature" guitar. It's all in the details I'm afraid. It's basically just a Les Paul. Wrap tailpiece Ebony Fretboard No board markers Schaller locking tuners with ebony buttons Black Bell knobs Vintage style nickel hardware Under 4kg Hey Singemonkey, what virtual guitar builder did you use to create your guitar?

When I become famouse, definitely.

Gerard-Becker Mine would be a , Burgundy Mist Fender Jazzmaster with a aged white pickgaurd , rosewood neck with matching headstock and two Seymour Duncan Hot for Jazzmaster Pickup's .
Arno-West Strat with a humbucker in the back. All volume and tone knobs must go up to 11. Techno-gizmos must include the following: 1. An on-board motorized tuning system that automatically tunes the axe to any tuning you might desire and that monitors said tuning every 100 milliseconds thereafter. 2. A refrigirated mini-bar cunningly concealed somewhere inside the body. 3. A pepperspray dispenser built into the head to deal with annoying fans. This system will have a "back at ya" feature that will automatically activate, aiming at the user's face when the intro for Bad Moon Rising is played.

Probably a good idea to go for a Mastery bridge in your specs if you want it to stay vaguely in tune. All the top Jazzmaster artists use 'em (Nels Cline, Sonic Youth etc.). Without it (or at least a Mustang or TOM bridge) a JM is pretty frustrating experience live. Awesome guitar though! ?
