He's got some speed, but not much else. Maybe I'm an old curmudgeon, but even Malmsteen (who
is amazing) bores me quickly - it's just so one dimensional compared to guys like Morse who have the whole classical approach to composition and arrangement as well as a healthy dash of speed, tone, subtle but complex chord voicings, flowing arpeggios, massive string skipping, complex timing, and wonderful counterpoint. Now that's more my idea of what neoclassical should be, rather than shredding harmonic minor arpeggios over a simple 5th chord riff with 16th note ostinato kick and bass.
