I brought in a Dr Z Maz 38 amp head from the USA on Dan Patlansky's recommendation about 2 years ago.
I have been battling to find the right speaker combination and last week found a Mesa Boogie Elekta Dyna 212 can fitted with 2 12" Celestion Vintage 30s.
This is the best combination and sounds awesome.

Always a joy to find the right speaker to turn an already great amp into the one inside your head.
I have to be honest, I often wonder why more people don't start with the V30, G12H, or Alnico Blue - they are where most searches usually end. ?

That's what prompted my beginner's post. Why waste time?
Of course I'm planning on putting my G12M in my amp. ? Hope that isn't a misstep and I end up going to the speakers you've mentioned. We'll have to see.

When I started my SLO-Clone project a few years ago I instinctively went for the V30's, not sure how the two will sound as I still haven't finished building the cab for them :roflmao: ?
