I dono man... Good guitar, a looker too. Not convinced about the price though... I've just seen a black MIM Strat sell up here for R4,5k. Didn't check out extras or anything though...

But if you like it and you got the cash, I reckon it's one of the better Strats to get, value-for-money wise ?

Main difference being the neck afaIac, same league but newer. No scratches but also no maturing. Play both, you'll soon feel your preference.

I own a '95 MIM strat, awesome guitar. Mine has a maple fret board and that is probably my only complaint, I prefer the rose wood fret boards. If i had to choose it would have been an easy one, and the candy apple finish is very nice!

I am seriously considering the Candy Apple finish guitar...
