Tom Anderson or Ruokangas ?
It was my dilemma before I decide to go for TAG's .
Ruokangas looks like a fantastic deal , and both luthiers are using (almost) the same , best on the market hardware (with different pickups of course) .
The reasons I went for Andersons was recessed bridge and pickups , and famous two bolts neck connection in TAG guitars .
Also, Ruokang's LP (Duke) is an exactly copy (just probably a few times better ? ) of original LP model, where Tom'S LP model-Bulldog , just looks like a LP, but it is completely new design (check the Bulldog straight strings direction to the tuners posts as an example) balance , weight (2 pounds lighter) , feeling and playability .
If someone buy one of that Finish guitars, please let me know, it will be interesting to compare it with my TAG's .
I am sure Ruokang are fantastic guitars , one of the best on the World ! 8)
As I noted in another thread , one can buy second hand cheaper models Ruokangs for less than R 20.000 and second hand TAG for even less than R16.000 !!!
