There are a few guys who build flight cases locally, I have never used them so I can't give my opinion.
I suggest you google "flight case" pages from south africa. you should get a few hits.
Then email them to ask if they can do what you want.

Use it, don't use it... ?

Have you tried Prosound yet? They build stuff like that. I've only bought rack rails and cage nuts from them but I'm sure you can get all of the other parts for your case as well. Or order it made to spec? The phone numbers on the receipt I got say:
Head office Jo'burg 011-334 6550
Durban 031-305 8556

thanks will look into them

I've been looking for the same for my krank for about a year now.
I'm exremely picky and the custom stores that I've asked use aluminum silver covering...which isn't really the look I was going for.

"Road Ready" would probably be your best bet.
Check out their website because they have a custom section.

Crown Cases make them too but they don't sell locally. You'd have to import them.

thank man, i will check them both out.
i am also pretty picky especially wen it come to gear, so lets just see what comes out of this

Check out the SKB cases. I have several of their guitar cases and I really like 'em! One of the guys I know has the 2x12 Combo amp case and another has the amp head case - both are quality, super-solidly built yet surprisingly light - basically like my guitar cases. Made in USA as far as I recall. Amp head case: http://www.soundz.co.za/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=SKSC306 - R1600 No rack obviously, but still a cool case. Maybe they do one with a rack? Do a search... Or try these guys for a custom-made option: www.customcases.co.za www.alpinecases.co.za www.caseconnection.co.za

hmm Case Connection's wooden cases looks like a winner ?
