Finally have some free time, Family all watching movies....
Changing the strings of my Cort Earth Mini - putting on some Elixirs Nanoweb 12's
If there is time, hopefully will change the Takamine Nylon strings
The only problem is I just want to play guitar, so it's a long process - Change a string, play for ten minutes and then the next string.
Good Stuff
Have a good weekend ?

Well, I was bullied into playing guitar in a backing band for the Westville Theatre Club... an amateur group who are putting on a Rock and Roll show. So I'm sitting here working on the guitar solos for such numbers as Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Another Brick In The Wall, That'll Be The Day and We Will Rock You. All In all I've got to work on about 30 numbers for the show which goes on stage over the first 2 weeks of October. Not all of them have solos but some have distinctive riffs that must be played for the song to sound sufficiently authentic. Don't know how or why I get involved in these non-paying gigs. Anyway It's stretching me trying to emulate so many different guitarists and their styles of playing... never too old to learn hey... a good learning curve.

Just finished a half chicken and chips after playing a marathon 5 hour gig tonight. 2 pee breaks only! Tomorrow morning is going to be interesting - must take the youngster to work! Ugggh...that damned alarm!

Was my birthday, just chilled with my best friend (girl).
Went out, came home and watched movies, 9gagged, music videos, interviews with muso's, talked about music, talked about music.

Working on some tracks I'm producing for someone (in some cases doing everything but vocals).
I'm also trying to get comfy working in Sonar X1, which is a bit of a departure from previous versions, but yes, a step forward in workflow optimisation when you get used to it.
Fingerpicker
TJ's open mic night, doing the sound as usual.
Squonk, I haven't seen your apology note yet, must have been lost in the mail.
