Stolen Gibson J200: Durban North

John Ellis here. My beautiful Gibson J200, in its custom Calton case, was stolen this afternoon in Durban North from my car, in a secure undercover parking lot. The guitar is one of a kind, built especially for me in 2005 in Gibson's Montana factory. It's featured on both my solo records and numerous Tree63 recordings. Devastating. Please be on the look-out for it.

yes post a pic as I wouldnt know a gibson j200 even if you hit me with it
and dont so a lot of other people,not nececerraliy gfsa members who read these sites,
so a pic will be the first thing to catch my eye in similarities when i see one advertised.

John posted a pic on his facebook, but the pic looks pretty generic. He did get some surveilance footage though of 2 guys in a black tazz driving off with it, which sounds fishy....smash and grabbers don't really have a get-away vehicle...

Still no serial number? And pics for us non vleisbroek 30+ perverts? An instrument supposedly this valuable could turn up anywhere. Previously there was a thread about some kid's stolen guitar in PTA, and everyone jumped on him for not having insurance. Usually I'd say nuts to that. In this case I would ask the same question.
