Mr-M

Thanks for posting this Manfred. ?

How many GFSA members going tomorrow? Would be great to meet a bunch of you guys in person. 8)

Any idea when the next one in Woodmead is?

Nothing is planned at the moment, but I would guess next year sometime. There is one scheduled for JHB at the end of September at another store. Will let you know on that.

Is there no love for pedals among citizens of the fairest Cape? ?

Getting captonians together is like herding cats... :?

I've been corralled for a wild flower viewing day - a negotiated settlement means I get to visit the Darling brewery for lunch ?

True indeed... ? At least you'll still get something out out of your trip. ?

I'm from the Cape, but I seem to have adapted to the strange customs of JHB. I've become one of them! ???

It wasn't mentioned here, but an autographed Zakk Wylde Phase 90 is up for grabs for those who RSVP.

Manfred-Klose

Do you know you the guitarist is that is gonna demo the pedals ?

Being on time & keeping to appointments? Nothing wrong with that... ?

Mojo jojoe and i are going to be there.

I think it might be our very own talented Mr. T

Talented? ??? :-[ You make me blush. ? Nah, I'll do the talking - which I'm pretty good at - and I'll leave the playing to the pros. Can't recall the guy's name, but he is a session muso AFAIK organized by the boys at Marshall. Apparently he is rather good. So Graham says and he is pretty good himself.

Will be cool to meet you guys! ?

On time? I didn't say that. ? Sort of a balance between CT & JHB. I aim for 15 minutes late, meaning I am still 15 min earlier than the average Capetonian. ? Thankfully I am a Capetonian so I'm allowed to say that.

Seriously though, musicians on both sides of the country tend to be serial latecomers. Anything involving musicians always starts late. ?

Graham's actually quite an average guitarist. Hahaha, I kid!
Bummed I'm gonna miss this....

Gorm Helfjord? Don't know what sort of guitar player Graham is.

Definitely. Will be awesome to finally meet the man that carries Liberia's deficit on his pedalboard ?

Mr-M

kayDUB, sorry you can't make it.

Liberia? More like Swaziland. ? Glad you can make it. See you there.

Manfred-Klose

It was a huge pleasure. Glad it was entertaining! ? Hopefully it was as informative as it was entertaining. Thank you for supporting the event and coming through. ?

Thanks as well for coming through Arjun. Was great meeting you and Joe and chatting afterwards.

It seems I may have instigated some new-found GAS among our CT members. ?
