New Song - Chord Trouble

So four and a half months into guitar I have decided to start writing some songs. Been writing for about a month and a half and managed to cough up four songs. Mostly strumming with some basic picking.

The problem is song number four. Really simple song.

The verse is B minor - D major - G major - Cmaj7
The 2nd verse is the same but B minor - D major - G major - E minor

Chorus is: C major - E major - A minor - F major

Here comes the problem. The F major just does not sound right with the B minor of the verse. I have tried using a F#7 but this doesn't seem to work either.

Since you guys on here are so experienced, what chord would sound good with the A minor of the chorus as well as the B minor of the verse?

Lol this might be a stupid question but I am still a noob, only being a guitarist for five months, and really need to study up on some theory.

See how you like a Bm7 in place of a Bm.

Well it all depends on the basic melodies of verse and chorus of course. But what you may wanna try is...play the F as in the original ...then go to A as a bridge between F and Bm of the next verse ?

It's difficult suggesting a chord not knowing what the melody is doing. But try a Dm7 in place of the F... or alternativley use 2 chords - Dm7 to G resolving back into Bm for the verse.
