acoustic and cello

So I started a little thingy with me on acoustic and a friend on her cello.
So yesterday we got together for the first time and played some stuff then we tried one of my songs. The history of the song is me and my ex-girlfriend wrote it for her sisters wedding (but lets not go there). Then I neatly packed the song away for quite some time and yesterday it came up again. This is the second time we went through the song, just keep that in mind while listening to it. So here and there the cello is of pitch.
But, as before, the recording is just done with my cellphone so that we can have a quick general idea of whats going on. So I decided to post it here and would like to know what you think.
Any thoughts and ideas are welcome.

Couldn't listen to more than half - I find cell recordings unbearable and the room is quite lively. But what I could hear is good. Nice solid rhythm playing and I always love a cello (and cellists, but that's another topic...). Couldn't make out the lyrics, but the melody is good.

Ja I know it sounds crap, but it was recorded so that she wouldn't forget what she did. I'll see what I can do with my little home studio this week.

Ja, we're playing on thursday again. So I'll do 2 recordings. One with us playing together and one where the tracks are layered.

I must be easily pleased, I think that was awesome! When you do record, don't add any other instruments...(my 2c) It sounds full yet simplistic, and I love it. Why I would suggest recording is just to hear it more clearly...
