Hey all,

my name is Peter, i am from Somerset West which is just outside Cape Town.
I might be new here but i have been reading here for quite some time.
I am currently a student at stellenbosch university and i love playing guitar.

I play metal, stuff like Lamb of God, Arch enemy, Pantera, Trivium and Gojira. i also really dig guitar albums like John 5's albums and John Petrucci's.

here are some of my pics with my guitars. they are a Dean two tone Razorback and a Dean #2 of 24 White/gold Razorbacks. i also have a epiphone les paul 50th anniversary and 2 grandpa guitars. I use a Peavey 6505 amp through a Mesa Boogie Stiletto 2x12 with a Korg DTR-200

Hey Man! I use to stay in Somerset West..
    Enjoy GFSA...

been playing for 8 years, been in a couple bands, but nothing serious.

i havent been in a band for the past year.

it was like $28, but i got it wen the interest rate was still quite low.
but i have gotten a lot of free stuff like 2 signed photos, picks, stickers, coasters, promo flyers and stuff, and not to mention if they ever do end up touring here, i will get to go to a meet and greet
                        'Ullo
                        welcome to the forum.

I'm not a fan of Trivium but I'll admit they got some of the best shredding I've ever heard. still get amazed by the guys solo in the Roadrunners United song 'In The Fire'
Hey Peter, welcome to the forum!
                            Hi Peter

Welcome...sweet axe...just out of curiousity, don't you find the Razorbacks to be a huge guitar like when compared to ...anything else? I'm just under 2m tall and usually guitars look small when I play them, but when I played the Razorback, I found it too big...Probably just me and the whole philosophy of what works for you.
                              Welcome
We are not all Petrucci fans though.

it hasnt ever bothered me size wise and i am not very tall. i think it really depends how u play it, like strap height and stuff
                                  nice guitar , and welcome
