guidothepimmp Alan, Thanks, no the neck is the finished result of a blank i got from Wayne and Ben at BvanS Custom. I got the blank and a fingerboard from them then took it home, glued the fingerboard on, sanded for days to get it to the size i wanted, put in the dots and frets, shaped the neck with files and what not, got the carve uniform, lots of sanding again, sprayed the neck, fret level and dress, and voila ? Was a great piece of wood from the guys.
guidothepimmp Gear, Yeah i agree, the 2 carves are basically the rib cage carve which is actually quite deep, and the forearm contour which is subtle but significantly wider than my channel strats . Think they just don't show up in the pics very well
