Torture Division are the self proclaimed Swedish masters of Death Metal, and I'm inclined to agree. They only record demo's, generally of high quality, and make them available on their site.

Well, the reason for this is that the metal market is near-impossible to break into nowadays. People who play the music feel more connected to making the music than selling the music, so, giving it away for free is not an issue.
