Chat Challenge 24/11/2008

Renesongs

OK by popular choice it has been decided that I am the one most like like to have Red Neck ( not to be confused with rooienek) genes so I have to pick this weeks challenge which is

Wacky

It has to have some element of guitar to it and it has to be in before Friday ie 23:59:59 Thursday

Squonk

Well done Rene

Shades of "Deliverance", hopefully you've got more teeth.
Wacky?

CornFlakes

this weeks challenge sounds a bit Wacky to me.. ?

FatBoy

Well done Rene! We ALMOST had you hahaha. I still don't quite get why this is called "chat" challenge though, any ideas?

LMinnie

mmmmmmmmmmmm............*he said while scratching his chin ...

ConradP

Can someone gimme a +1 for being confused? I can't link the redneck thing with the chat challenge. ☹

FatBoy

Lol the last topic was Country, and Rene won.

A side note. I think we should split this into two leagues, one for Rene, and one for mortals. lol

OK. Don't we need more of a definition for whacky though?

Renesongs

@ Conrad Wacky = Crazy, weird, different, funny , stupid, "special", amusing, ingenious, out of the box, off the wall, mad, insane, silly, unusual, or anything you choose it to be. I have tried to make this weeks topic as open ended as possible to encourage more people to enter.

Hmm Rene that is risky, we might make something that will diminish a listener's IQ. OK thanks LOL. Do people now get chosen to record something together? Or do we set up the collaboration ad hoc between the nasty bunch of us.

Conrad

FatBoy

Nope Conrad, the three of us just wanted to meet up so we decided to do a collab on this, all up to you sir, solo or form a one night band ?

One night band LOL ?

When I heard you guys collaboration I thought I was doomed the thought did cross my mind to split you guys into 3 different votes to even out everybody else's chances ?
You would have to ask Norio where the chat came from it was his idea.

You have to organize your own collaboration 8)

No still got a full set of human teeth every Monday Wednesday and Friday, my wife/sister/daughter gets to wear them every other day ?

LAWL!

If I could get my soundcard and cables sorted out in time, "wacky" seems as good a theme as any to start entering these competitions. At least a mere mortal such as myself could get away with strange sounds under such a theme... ?

ConradP

Oh oops! I deserve a +1 for not deleting the opening quote tag and probably another +1 for not rectifying it. Yes, that makes sense...

NorioDS

Regarding the "chat" bit, the original idea was to run the competition inside the GFSA chat and run it like DeviantArt.com runs their PhotoHunt stuff. (Judge picks a *word*, you have 20 minutes to record something and upload, then judge picks winner)

Thing is, we'll need to get a lot more people used to recording first before we go down that route so, for now, it's the weekly challenge. No "chat".

Makes sense now?

FatBoy

Ah ok, weekly challenge makes more sense ya!

dyllels

nice Rene, definitely having a go at this.. ?

*thinks of something wacky*

hmmmm.... time to get writing ?

congrats on last weeks win by the way

sepheritoh

Hey guys

It will be an interesting challenge this week. Unfortunately I will have to sit this one out, as I landed a gig for a corporate DVD which will have to get priority. Hopy to join you in the challenge next time round. Good luck to all.
