I have "discovered" the Troubadour TX website which is a US series following the lives of "various singers and songwriters as they chase their dreams across Texas". I am browsing the YouTube videos of several but so far am really enjoying Woody Russell's music and thought I would share:

This is good stuff, he has quite a hectic technique. Is that a type of resonator?

Now you just know I would have found out more about teh guitar as well Squonk ?

It is a custom built Electric/Resonator hybrid by Kris Olsen who is a lecturer at the Robert0- Venn School of Luthieryand builds a guitar every so often. I think this has a K&K pickup for the Resonator as well as the electric pckup.
