latency decrease

I'm having latency issues with guitar rig...
Any suggestions how to decrease the delay?

It sounds like a sound card problem?

What card are you using?

download this driver, it generally sorts out the latency issue.

thanks squonk... asio4all doesnt seem to have much of an effect..
unless i'm not using it properly...
any advice on where i should start with it?

I don't know guitar rig at all, but try to see in it's settings if it is indeed using the asio driver. If you installed GR before you installed the driver there is a good chance that its still using the old driver.

I had Guitar Rig on an average card...had the same problem.

...changed the card and fixed the problem.

You need to change the Ouput Device to ASIO4ALL (File-->Audio and Midi Settings).

If you are using Guitar Rig in a host you need to make sure that the host is using AISO4ALL as its primary driver.
