So maybe you folk can help out. Someone asked this question on my YouTube channel

If I change my guitar pickups of my $100 Squier Strat Affinity guitar for the "Fender Hot Noiseless" (including the electronics, there is package in Amazon, including the pickups, Tortoise Shell Pickguard, 5-way Switch, 3-250k Volume Pots, Guitar Polish & DPS Polishing Cloth ), Could my sound improve? I'm looking for more sustain

I think any pickup up grade in an Affinity Squier would improve tone and sustain. Whether the sustain will be that much more noticeable I won't be able to tell.

Sustain will improve because of the low powered magnets in the Hot Noiseless pickups - less string pull = more sustain. HOWEVER, usually more gains in sustain can be made by paying attention to the mechanical aspects of the guitar itself - cleaning up the neck pocket and especially replacing the cheap plastic nut for a bone one.
