Women's soccer at the Olympics...

I'll tell you what, these chicks can play, and they play very well.

I've been watching the games, the USA/Canada game, Semi Final, was a brilliant game.
The Japanese games as well, great stuff.

Watching the final now, USA VS Japan.
Keep in mind they're playing at Wembley...it's a big ground.
These chicks are fast, they're strong, and they have amazing skills.
And, they don't dive, they don't roll on the ground moaning and groaning like the men.

I'm amazed at how good women's soccer is.

best of all: the shirts exchange after the match ?
(sorry, just had to mention that)

Women playing soccer well? It's like South Africans making good, original music. No reason why not.

Obviously no one here watched women soccer at the Olympics. ?

I watched the japanese woman first and was utterly stunned. Then i saw canada vs usa too! What a game! Was as intense as any premiere league darby. Even though america won i stil think canada played better. Like it was said, their movement on and off the ball, their touch, their control, their generally mentality towards the game is far superior than bafana bafana imo. We have alot to learn from them.

Haven't watched much Olympics much at all sadly. Did see that brilliant Kenyan with wings on his feet win the 800m and the Botswanan (who I'm claiming as ours ? ) take silver in one of the 10 best times in Olympic history.

Saw Canada celebrating their soccer bronze win. If you guys are getting to grips with women playing football, did you catch that Irish woman smash ten kinds of hell out of the Russian to win boxing gold? Turns out no sport is too masculine for women to do great at once they'd won gold (or at least bronze) in Attaining Your Rights (in a record time of about 12,000 years ? ).

I missed all of those! I would have loved to have seen that boxing though. It sounds like a prisoners fetish wonderland.

I watched quite a few matches Lance ........ including the final.....USA vs. Japan ....... i was hoping the Japanese would retain their their world champion status, but unfortunately Hope Solo was the spoiler....... ?

I think Bafana would'nt stand a chance against the USA or Japan ....... ?

I watched, especially when the swedish team were involved. That left wing was CUTE!!! Some good games. And none of that diving. they dealt with being tackeld way tougher thatn some of their male counterparts/ lol

Imo, if your were to pit the Girls teams against the guys... i feel sorry for the guys!
The girls would give them a royal whipping as they CAN play! ?
