racman I collected the amp yesterday from Benj in Nelspruit. Great meeting such a passionate person who has a real focus on customer satisfaction and ensuring that his customers are happy with the final product. The aesthetic and most importantly the tone is just superb. I played my K-Line Strat through the 2 Princes for about 30 minutes last night and just love it. (I can't believe this is just 2W though ?). A very versatile amp (for my purposes) with great reverb and just covers a wide tonal spectrum, but definitely Fender tone". (I spent a bit of time doing a little acoustic style playing on the Strat with slap chord harmonics etc and really enjoyed that as well) The amp has a nice gritty breakup when pushed a little (again more Fender than Marshall which is exactly what I wanted). I will be taking a few pics in the coming weeks (unfortunately in the process of moving so won’t be for a while) and will hopefully be able to solicit sound clips from one or two forum members in Cape Town who can do justice to this amp (any volunteers?). I was going through my communication with Benj last night and really feel that he met all the criteria we discussed to perfection. A very satisfied customer here. Great tone, superb workmanship and just an overall satisfied customer - what more can I say - Well done Craig Amps!
Big-G Roy, many congrats bud! You must be over the moon?! As ever, the quality looks stupendously good! When you finally get to Cape Town, and settled, I'd love to come by and hear it (and some of your rather nice guitars!)! Enjoy! I do hope you get to use it before your move. Regards G!
arjunmenon Wow! Stellar work there...i may be mistaken, but the cab has a bit of a Carr vibe going on Congrats on the amp Roy..and to Benj on the spectacular build.
