For me Paint it Black is easily up there with Gimme Shelter ?

I also think One's intro sets the mood for the melodic vocals, while Little Wing flows into the singing beautifully. Always found To Live is to Die's guitar intro truly beautiful, while Zeppelin's Babe I'm Gonna Leave You paths the way for Plant's howling later in the song (especially when Bonham kicks in - hah! Kicks in, get it? :roflmao?.

Although I'm not wild about the rest of the song, Broken Wings has an ethereal guitar bit in the beginning:

Yes, some are less traditional than others but thats why i like them so much. (marooned for instance, those first notes are introductions to audible bliss)

The intro on the Big Country Film theme tune I totally loved
and I was only 9 or 10. I played it over and over and over.

I really think it's one of the few songs where Lars puts in some decent drumming (then again, my knowledge of drumming is limited to what I've heard, and what I can play on Guitar Hero ?)

Wasnt that crazy about the album but Chinese Democracy has a nice intro I think. And I like locomotive breath still. And there's a song by Tito and Tarantula called Bleeding Roses that I like the intro of. And I also like Magic Bus off Live at Leeds. On Iggy Pop New Values there are a few songs with really nice rhythm guitar beginnings.
