I also fell victim to Marshall's sale ? I've been wanting an acoustic for a while now and the sale came a a good time for once. I ended up with a Takamine G Series (the MIC range):
Spruce top, nato back and sides (never heard of this wood), rosewood bridge and fretboard:
The top doesn't look quite as red in real life but I was too busy playing it to be bothered to mess around with camera settings.

I looked a lot darker in the dim lighting at Marshall but I'm still pleased with it. Really love the grain on the back and sides - nice rich colour and a quite a bit darker than the top.
Loving the sound though ? Really good to have an acoustic now!
