I realised this week, after overhearing some hushed conversations where the word "puppies" caught my attention, that as the only male in this house it was once again time to put my foot down and make it clear who's in charge of this household. "Two Jack Russells...no way, they'll dig up the garden! No, no, absolutely not. Let's get a goldfish instead".
