Ilse's new bass

Okay, so not mine, but I wanted to share it anyway ?

I bought Ilse a Cort acoustic bass for her birthday last week.

Top is solid spruce, back and sides is rosewood, neck mahogany and fingerboard is rosewood. The electronics is a Fishman Prefix Plus T.

Yeah. It seems to me that right now Cort is offering lots of bang per buck.

Well, that's the idea ? Thursdays is generally not a good day for us, otherwise we would be going regularly. But we'd like to work on a short set and then put one Thursday aside to give it a go ? We'll try not to wait too long ?

Yes, we played a couple of them over at music connection. There was also a Fender that was in our price range, but honestly, the Cort we felt had the upper hand tonally.
